At Par · Service
The accountant and the accounting system in one.
Most firms make you keep the books in one place and hire someone to check them. At Par is both. Your books live on At Par's own system — you hand over your documents, and they come back read, checked twice, recorded and reconciled, closed every month, with a qualified accountant (ACCA) accountable.
An ACCA is accountable. The finance team you don't hire.
For consultancies, agencies, contractors and owner-led service firms who would rather hand over the books than run accounting software themselves.
You send your bills, invoices and receipts. At Par reads each one, records it in your own books, reconciles to the bank, and closes each month — every figure carrying its evidence. Two independent checks must agree, and a qualified accountant (ACCA) is accountable. There is no separate ledger for you to run: At Par is the accountant and the system. At Par prepares; you authorize and file. It never moves your money.
Your books, run on At Par.
What does “the accounting system in one” actually mean?
It means your books live on At Par, not in a separate tool you keep up yourself. You do not run QuickBooks, Xero or a spreadsheet — you hand over documents, and At Par keeps the books.
At Par is your system of record and the people accountable for it, together. The system does the recording and reconciling; a qualified accountant (ACCA) is accountable for the result; two independent checks must agree before anything is committed.
How does a document become a recorded entry?
You drop a bill, invoice or receipt — a photo or a file. At Par reads it, drafts the entry, and two independent checks must agree before it is recorded in your books, with the document attached as its evidence.
Records are append-only: a correction is written alongside the original, never erased. You can watch it happen on one of your own documents — send one and see what comes back.
Do I still need QuickBooks or Xero?
No. With the full system, you do not keep a separate ledger anywhere — At Par is the ledger, reconciled and closed each month.
If you would rather stay on your current tool, At Par can review and close that instead — see QuickBooks review or Xero review. Either way, a qualified accountant (ACCA) stands behind the close.
Who is accountable — is it just software?
A qualified accountant (ACCA) is accountable for the patterns the desk runs on, and two independent checks stand behind every record. The system prepares; a person is answerable.
You authorize anything that moves money or files. At Par records the work and prepares what you need — it never moves your money, and it does not submit filings on your behalf.
One document in. Recorded, with its evidence.
Read, checked twice, recorded.
It balances · evidence attached · append-only. At Par records it — you still authorize the payment.
At Par prepares. Two checks agree. You authorize.
Two checks must agree before anything is recorded. Evidence on every figure. Append-only records. A qualified accountant (ACCA) is accountable. Your books are encrypted and kept in one region — see how we protect your data. You authorize everything that moves money — At Par never moves it. At Par prepares your filings; you or your authorised tax agent submit them through the official channel.
Asked about this.
Where do my books actually live? +
On At Par's own system, encrypted and kept in one region. There is no separate ledger for you to maintain. Your records stay yours — exportable in full at any time — and corrections are recorded, never erased. See our security page for how your data is protected.
Does At Par move my money or file for me? +
No. At Par records your books and prepares what you need to pay or file — reconciled and evidenced. You authorize and execute yourself. At Par never moves money, and it does not submit filings on your behalf.
How do I know an entry is right if a system recorded it? +
Every routine record clears two independent checks that must agree before it is committed, and a qualified accountant (ACCA) is accountable for the result. Every figure links to its source document, and nothing is recorded on one check alone.
Do you do audit? +
No. At Par keeps your books audit-ready and hands a clean, evidenced file to your auditor. We do not provide audit or assurance services.
What does it cost? +
